Terms of Service

RNPush provides a control plane for over-the-air (OTA) updates to React Native applications. The Service includes the RNPush dashboard, REST API, CLI tools, and native SDK.

Under the Bring Your Own Storage (BYOS) model — the default for all plans — your application bundles are stored in and served from cloud storage infrastructure that you own and control. RNPush provides routing, diffing, telemetry, and authentication services only.

Under RNCloud (our managed CDN option, available on paid plans), RNPush hosts your bundles on managed cloud infrastructure operated by RNPush on your behalf, subject to the Data Processing Agreement available upon request.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at security@rnpush.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share your account credentials, create accounts on behalf of others without their consent, or create more than one free account per individual or organization.

The Service is offered under the plans described at rnpush.com/pricing. Plan details including limits and features are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to affected customers
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period
• Enterprise pricing and payment terms are governed by a separate Order Form

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Distribute application code that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, or contains malware
• Circumvent App Store or Google Play guidelines in ways that violate their Developer Program License Agreements (note: OTA updates that comply with platform guidelines are explicitly permitted)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load that disrupts other customers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission

OTA updates to React Native applications are explicitly permitted under both Apple App Store Review Guidelines (section 3.3.2) and Google Play Developer Program Policies, provided they do not change the primary purpose of the app. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with platform guidelines.

You retain all ownership of your application code, bundles, and any data you store in your BYOS storage buckets. RNPush claims no intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant RNPush a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, route, and cache the metadata required to operate the Service on your behalf. This does not include your bundle content under BYOS configuration.

RNPush retains all rights to the Service, platform, CLI, SDK, and associated intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any RNPush IP to you.

RNPush targets 99.9% monthly uptime for the control plane API. This target excludes scheduled maintenance (notified 48 hours in advance) and events beyond our reasonable control.

SLA guarantees with financial remedies (service credits) are available under Enterprise plans as specified in the applicable Order Form. Hobby and Growth/Scale plan subscribers are not entitled to SLA credits.

Community support is provided via our documentation and public channels. Priority support response times (48h or 24h) are provided for Growth and Scale plans respectively. Enterprise plans include a dedicated support channel with response time SLAs as specified in the Order Form.

Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential. This obligation survives termination of these Terms for a period of three (3) years.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” RNPUSH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

RNPUSH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RNPUSH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RNPUSH'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RNPUSH IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RNPush and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your application code or content distributed via the Service, or (c) your violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription from the dashboard. Termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

RNPush may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if required by law, with or without notice at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension except where legally prohibited or where security requires immediate action.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Under BYOS configuration, your bundles remain in your own storage and are unaffected.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
